I'm joining Kim at Flowers & Art - and Laura at Love At Home for Healthy Thinking Thursday.
Tip on losing weight?

Whatever you do to lose weight should be a life style.
It's not just about losing weight, but it is about life and health issues.
About living your life in the healthiest way possible.
About choosing to make healthy choices.
Not to just lose weight. You can lose the weight.
Will you keep it off though once you have lost it. Or will you go back to the old ways and gain it all back plus more?

Yesterday I went and worked out at the YMCA.
Exercise MUST be become a life style for me.
It felt SO good riding the bike for 35 minutes.
It felt even more exhilarating running the track.
Me running.
That blows me away.
Not only did I used to hate sweating, I thought running was boring.
I haven't gone to the gym in MONTHS.
Not since I pinched a nerve in my neck.
All I can say is that it felt WONDERFUL yesterday.
Oh and on top of all that wonderful exercise, I weighed myself.
I lost two pounds in two weeks. WOW.
With all the stress going on in my life, the old Angie would have been gorging.
Shoving the food down.
I'm definitely learning to love what I have. Learning to live a healthy life style.
Now for the smoking? Well let's not go there right now, thank you very much. blush blush.

Hey Sis - one thing at a time. Once you get to your goal weight, you can start on the smoking. :)
Great job getting out there and working it. I firmly believe that we were made to be active; that's why it feels so good when we do it!
Angie- I am so proud of you that you did not resort to food to solve the stress you have been dealing with. You are so strong girl- and woooo hooo for the exercise!! You and Laura inspire me every day- I am lucky to have met you both and you are such wonderful friends ♥
Congrats on the two pounds lost!! You are so right about it being a life style change and not just a diet. I've been dieting for years and that just didn't work. I think it is so awesome that you are running. Your words are so inspiring and make me believe that maybe I can do it too! Thanks Angela!!
Two more pounds! Yay!!!!!
And way to go on the exercise as well. :) Amazing.
That is my weakness right now. I really need to get moving more.
Great job Angie!

If it looks like I"ve been on here forever, it's because I'm listening to your playlist... :P
((hugs))
Good for you Ang!!!
Yay!!! Way to go with working out and the weight loss. You rock Sis!!! My eating has been off the charts this week. I hope to get control myself. Love you!
Is that you in the transformation pictures on the side bar, Angela? Wow!...Christine
Yay for 2 pounds! Last week was stressful for me - and i was thrilled that I didn't gain.
Isn't it wierd to think - that at the beginning of all of this, neither of us could have ran???
Yay us!
Praying for and with you Angie. I enjoyed reading how GOD is working in this area of your life. He's amazing isn't HE?!! I so agree with you on lifestyle changes. What I found after losing 61 lbs in 2007 and then entering peri-meno in 2008 and now full meno and all the struggle that comes with that; I find that just one day at a time with the help of GOD and making healthy, deliberate choices in food, exercise and even in rest is what I do. It may only reap 1 lb off per week but I'll take it.
You're a blessing sister always!
